Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to join our team as an ORACLE E-BUSINESS SUITE (EBS) APPLICATION DEVELOPER - SENIOR LEVEL. This position is NOT REMOTE and will be based in our corporate office located in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for Oracle EBS application support and development. As a member of our development team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and gain valuable hands-on functional and technical experience with the Oracle EBS financial system.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all phases of the IT project life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, implementation, and software product deployment.
  • Design, develop and maintain interfaces, extensions, and integration of Oracle e-Business Suite applications with internal and external systems.
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views, record types, and hints for performance tuning using PL/SQL with Oracle Database.
  • Leverage multiple tools including Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflows, OAF, JDeveloper, TOAD, SQL Developer, XML Publisher, BI Publisher, and SQL*Loader.
  • Develop custom OAF pages as per business requirements and customize existing OAF pages in Oracle E-Business Suite using extensions and personalization's.
  • Customize existing Oracle Forms as per business requirements and forms personalization using Oracle Form Builder.
  • Create/modify processes, functions, and roles in Oracle Workflows to modify the existing functionality using Oracle Workflow Builder.
  • Understands and assists in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and may respond to application outages following the appropriate processes.
  • Ability to adapt and learn technology based on needs of the team/organization.
  • With limited guidance, perform defect correction (analysis, design, code) on less complex issues. Work with teammates to gain understanding of systems while conducting root cause analysis of issues, reviewing new and existing code and/or performing unit testing.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology/related field OR four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of software engineering/development experience.
  • 1-3 years' experience with EBS development tools such as Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
  • Position requires demonstrable experience and proficiency with the following:
    • Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2+
    • Oracle Applications Framework (OAF).
    • Oracle Workflows
    • Oracle Forms
    • Oracle Reports
    • Oracle Webadi
    • SQL & PL/SQL
  • Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements, and ability to perform job duties.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Oracle EBS version R12.2+ is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Applications or Oracle Integration Cloud is a plus.
