Job description

KPF, a global architecture practice headquartered in New York City, is seeking an Architectural Intern in New York City to contribute to the development of design solutions under the supervision of the senior architects.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Contribute in a creative and constructive way to the development of the design solution
  • Assist design team in design process by performing sketching and Revit drawings, model making, and other required tasks
  • Prepare drawings and models for presentations
  • Calculate area and volumes
  • Contribute to team effort through spirit of cooperation with team leaders and peers
  • Perform drawing and presentation work using Revit or other media as required within established time frames
  • Strive to perfect drawings and sketching skills
  • Research technical systems appropriate to project assignment
  • Follow directions positively and thoroughly
  • Ask questions to ensure that assigned tasks are mutually understood

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in an architectural program.
  • Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, D5, Adobe Suite and MS Office preferred.

Work Environment:
This position requires you to be in person in our New York office 5 days per week.
Pay Range:
$22.00 - $25.00 Hourly
