Colson Group is seeking a CAD Product Engineering Intern in our Saint Joseph, MI location. The Product Engineering Intern is responsible for performing design-related Product Engineering activities as needed, including but not limited to: CAD, product print alteration or generation, specification development, lab testing, report writing, and sample preparation. The successful candidate must be able to function well in a matrix organization and have the ability to participate and communicate across all departments effectively.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with Product Engineers and others to determine requirements and communicate with other functions in the development of new products or changed products
Execute design and analysis tasks associated with product development
Work with designers and engineers to create finished models and drawings
Hands-on support of engineering and concept builds (including assembly/welding/testing/etc.)
Create, Maintain, Implement, and adhere to Product Engineering standards
