Hasana, Inc. is seeking talented students in the Chicago Loop area for
a variety of spring internship positions. Take advantage of on the
job training, mentorship and exposure to all aspects of the fashion
industry.

Job Description

Be knowledgeable of the property needs of Hasana. Hasana is a charitable, luxury retailer that sells fashionable clothes, jewelry, and accessories. All the profits made support the Aparecio Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women advance their education and economic opportunities.

Conduct research on locations that will meet the needs of a Hasana retail location.

Schedule tours of possible locations and allow volunteers/interns of the Aparecio Foundation to view locations.

Develop relationships with property representatives, real estate brokers, alderman, chamber of commerce, etc. in order to negotiate property rates for desired locations.

Negotiate leases on the behalf of the Aparecio Foundation

Review legal documents and leases to ensure that the Aparecio Foundation is receiving the best deals possible.

Maintain open communication with the Aparecio Foundation and provide the information that is needed to make informed decisions in regards to locations for Hasana.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

A minimum of two years of experience in working with property representatives and negotiating leases.

Comfortable with making new connections with property representatives.

Ability to efficiently negotiate leases.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

A passion for women's economic opportunities.
