Must be able to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year. This is an in-person role.
Position Overview
As an Engineering Intern, you will work on various projects involving detail design, problem solving, process improvement, and process documentation. You will assist with maintaining and improving our maintenance management system and support manufacturing operations.

  • Apply new machine QR coded asset tags and attach equipment photos to MaintainX records.
  • Review equipment preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure accuracy and sensibility.
  • Verify that critical equipment PMs are present and accurate in the system.
  • Add building and facility-related PMs into MaintainX.
  • Build and maintain spare parts inventory within MaintainX.
  • Develop and improve work order templates.
  • Monitor processes and equipment alarms through MaintainX.
  • Assist with training employees as MaintainX usage expands.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled local college student, preferably in engineering or related field.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work 10-20 hours per week during school and full-time during the summer; we are willing to accommodate school schedules.

Working Conditions
Working with sharp cutting tools. Exposure to noise, grinding oil/coolant. Long periods of working on your feet.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs, must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders, stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time. Manual dexterity is required as well as pushing and pulling functions. Must be able to position oneself and move under/around/over equipment.
