Job description

The Sponsorship Team is seeking a Sponsorship Intern. This is a Seasonal position approximately from September thru mid-April (or longer depending on business needs). The Sponsorship Intern role is an important supportive part of the Sponsorship Department during the Winter Equestrian Festival and Global Dressage Festival. The Sponsorship Intern is responsible for a variety of administrative and operational tasks alongside the Sponsorship Department.

Main Responsibilities May Include:
  • Assist with the organization and management of sponsorship assets & deliverables.
  • Help manage organization of prizes, promotional materials, and sponsorship collateral.
  • Maintain running inventory of photos of banners, sponsorship activations, and other promotions around the showgrounds.
  • Help organize, inventory, and install banners and printed materials.
  • Assist sponsorship team in liaising with other departments to support sponsor activations.
  • Assist with sponsor class presentations.
  • Help organize and distribute sponsor assets around the showgrounds.
  • Help update weekly photo and video logs.
  • Help organize presentation schedules & work with sponsorship team to create & coordinate presentation opportunities with sponsors.
  • Organize and prepare all sponsorship report material.
  • Assist sponsorship team in creating sponsorship reports.
  • Handle a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Higher education strongly preferred.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with equestrian sports preferred.
  • Basic Proficiency in: Canva, Excel, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & positive attitude.
  • Work Schedule is 5 or 6 days a week during the season (including weekends).
  • Work Location is on-site.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
