Job description

The Marketing Intern will contribute to the organization?s success by supporting and delivering performance marketing campaigns and content across our most critical marketing and digital channels.

This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit and developmental mindset regarding brands and marketing with an adaptability to support through a business and customer performance lens.

The Marketing Intern role responsibility lies primarily across our owned digital marketing channels - email/SMS marketing, as well as community management and engagement on our primary social channels (Instagram and TikTok) while supporting content production where necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Email and SMS marketing programs

  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to update and execute the marketing blueprint with focus on email/SMS calendar and prioritization
  • Serve as marketing point person on all designer and trunk shows, partnering with teams to provide and secure asset requirements and inputs, delivering assets and updates to all respective teams
  • Deploy all email communications through existing email marketing platform (KEAP) and SMS (Attentive), managing day-to-day and relationships with both service providers as necessary
  • Segment customer databases and targeting specific audience groups based on their preferences, wedding dates, or other relevant factors
  • Deliver campaign and channel performance results, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, to optimize future campaigns and drive engagement
  • Responsible for file hygiene and compliance with relevant privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM Act, and implementing best practices for data protection

Social Community Management and Content Development

  • Monitor social media conversations and brand engagement - owned and Kleinfeld tagged content- responding to comments and direct messages. Flag concerns with senior members of the team and the customer service team, as appropriate
  • Collaborate with agency partner to capture and create visually stunning social media assets, including graphics, photos, and videos.

Talent + Influencer

  • Collaborate with agency team to identify strategic influencer partnerships and support production and relationship management with active and new partners
  • Identify on-site production needs requested by talent, influencer partners and communicate film and content timing with operations and leader stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and a fantastic experience for our partners
  • Track influencer content performance and partner with agency team to deliver regular performance reports leveraging internal and external reporting tools

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 1-2 years of digital marketing and/or social media success in a retail/ecommerce environment
  • Passion for social media and brand content necessary with direct or related experience a plus
  • Experience in or partnering with marketing agency a plus
  • Ability to define problems, collect information and present recommendations to leader team and peers
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret/synthesize information from multiple sources
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, Outlook, and Adobe CS.
  • Time Management: Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability to changing priorities and evolving content needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, designers, bridal consultants, and external partners. Ability to work as part of a team and incorporate feedback into content revisions.
