Job Details:
Job Summary: Applies fundamental engineering principles for the development and exercise of test plans, test procedures and test reports. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interface with engineering staff to identify 'testable' features of the design.
  • Review customer requirements and engineering documents to prepare system test requirements matrix.
  • Write requirements-based test procedures according to standard Cubic practices.
  • Interface with program management through life cycle of project.
  • Interface with customer representatives during test phase.
  • Conduct system testing according to plans and procedures.
  • Write test reports.
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask as needed by Supervisor.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Four-year college degree in computer science, computer engineering or other related technical discipline. Basic software engineering knowledge to include: language, compilers, architecture, development and operating systems. Intern or class project experience testing electro/mechanical devices and software applications. Necessary computer skills include: Test automation tools, JIRA, as well as, proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other MSOffice applications. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, have no medical limitations on amount of time that can be spent word processing or working at a computer terminal. Read and interpret engineering drawings and software design documents.

Cubic Pay Range:
$69,384.00 - $95,403.00 + benefits.
