Work Environment:
This position is based in a professional office setting and regularly utilizes workplace technology, including computers, smartphones, multifunction printers, cloud-based filing systems, and collaboration tools.
Physical Demands:
This role requires physical capabilities that support the successful execution of key responsibilities. The employee regularly engages in verbal and written communication with colleagues and clients to address project-related inquiries and must be able to convey accurate information clearly and efficiently. The position involves remaining seated at a workstation for approximately 75% of the time, with occasional movement throughout the office to access equipment, supplies, and shared resources. Daily tasks include consistent use of computers and standard office technology such as keyboards, printers, and multifunction devices. The role also involves transporting equipment boxes weighing up to 25 pounds within the building and to other offsite locations as needed for project support.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma Required
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a closely related field
Qualifications:
Assist senior engineers in building, testing, and setting up solutions for customer projects, both in the lab and at customer sites
Help identify and resolve equipment issues, working alongside experienced engineers to diagnose problems and find solutions
Support the creation and upkeep of project documents such as installation guides, parts lists, and reference materials
Help test completed assemblies and systems, record results, and report any issues to the engineering team
Participate in project meetings and discussions, contributing observations and gaining exposure to how engineering projects are planned and executed
Assist with tracking and sourcing parts and materials, coordinating with internal teams to confirm availability and timelines
Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time, proactively flagging any challenges or delays to your supervising engineer
