Job description

Overview
This position is for a seasoned electrician or electrical engineer to provide project management and operations & maintenance (O&M) support to ensure electrical and power systems within US secure facilities meet applicable requirements. This position involves working with project managers, facility managers, senior executives, and tradespeople to oversee facility projects and evaluate designs for both electrical and security compliance. A successful candidate will have significant hands-on experience working with secure power systems, experience managing multiple projects, and excellent communication skills.
What will you do?
  • Managing multiple projects that involve all trades (electrical, HVAC (mechanical), plumbing, building, grounds, IT) but with an emphasis on electrical projects.
  • Gathering and reviewing customer requirements, working with customer to understand scope and budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate plans/work with other offices such as IT and Logistics to ensure realistic schedules, identify risks and deficiencies, potential remedies, and costs.
  • Coordinate facility work orders, review proposed changes, and ensure work is completed in accordance with requirements.
  • Review drawings and confirm proposed projects will not overwhelm circuits.
  • Review riser drawings and provide feedback on new construction projects.
  • Provide survey coordination for routine electrical surveys.
  • Manage planned and unplanned site outages and provide updates to the USG.
  • Ensure all project management records are complete, up to date, and accurate.
  • Brief range of clients from trades to C-Suite.

Do you have what it takes?
Basic Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Typically requires a BA degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.
    Proven record of working with and briefing senior C-suite-level clients.
  • Ability to support client facilities organizations across a range of facilities-related tasks.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and oversee facilities-related budget execution requirements.
  • Ability to provide a variety of facility project management services support to client facility occupants.
  • Ability to provide guidance on a range of facilities project issues, including consideration of risk and impact on client-owned and leased facilities and infrastructure.
  • Ability to update and maintain documentation in direct support of client facilities.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Licensed Master Electrician in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC.
  • Experience managing ODNI facilities projects, particularly with senior level visibility.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Access, or MS Project
  • Knowledgeable with BUILDER, Bluebeam, ServiceNow, or ARCHIBUS
