Job Description: Intern - Data Entry (Institutional Advancement Department)

Department: Institutional Advancement Office

Location: Interdenominational Theological Center

Position Type: Part-Time Internship

Reports To: Chief Institutional Advancement Officer

Overview:

***You MUST be a college student*** The Data Entry Intern will support the Institutional Advancement Office by ensuring the accurate entry and organization of alumni and donor records within the departmentโ€™s database system. This role plays an important part in maintaining data integrity and supporting advancement operations, including donor engagement, alumni outreach, and reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain alumni and donor information in the Institutional Advancement database.
  • Review data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Assist with organizing digital and physical files related to alumni and donor records.
  • Support basic reporting projects by compiling and verifying data as requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor and alumni information with discretion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Institutional Advancement Office as needed.

Duration:

This internship is expected to last approximately 8-12 weeks or one academic semester, with flexibility based on performance and departmental needs.

Compensation:

$16 per hour

Weekly Hours:

Approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility based on the internโ€™s availability and departmental workload.
