Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Car Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in automotive painting, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for delivering flawless finishes on custom and classic vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint (sanding, masking, priming) after body work (400 grit and up)
Mix and match custom paint colors and finishes
Apply basecoat, clearcoat, and specialty finishes (metallics, pearls, candies, etc.)
Wet sand, buff, and polish to achieve show-quality results
Inspect completed work to ensure top-tier quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Collaborate with fabricators and builders to meet project timelines
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in automotive painting (custom or restoration preferred)
Strong knowledge of paint systems, materials, and application techniques
Experience with HVLP spray guns and paint booth operations
Ability to color match and blend seamlessly
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with show cars or concours-level finishes
Knowledge of bodywork and minor repair
