Preferred Student Classification
Must be a Graphic Design Major who has passed the graphic design review.
Nature & Purpose of Position
The Department of Art is looking for an intern with graphic design experience.
Duties:
General responsibilities
1. Help get and keep the GD area in order.
2. You will be assigned specific tasks during the semester involving rearranging, cleaning, planning, setup.
3. Make sure that accurate lab hours are posted in clearly visible locations.
4. Possess basic troubleshooting skills for Mac computers. Understand how to force quit applications and force restart computers if necessary.
5. Assist students with technical problems to the best of your ability.
6. Maintain proficiency with software such the Adobe Creative Suite and iMovie.
7. Maintain a high degree of knowledge in regard to lab printing equipment. Resources/Manuals for all printers should be studied.
8. Maintain a clean lab and classroom environment and make sure students follow established lab rules.
9. Report any concerns to supervisor via email asap.

Must be full time Student
Must have 2.5 cumulative GPA
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work on a Mac
Works collaboratively in team environment
Aware of current best practices in creating accessible documents a plus
