This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree.

Internship dates: August 31st to December 18th


**This role is for Technical Training and not for pilot training **


We are looking for candidates for an internship in training material development within the Global Technical Training team. You will have the opportunity to become familiar with the various modules of a flight simulator.

You'll get the chance to interact with different departments across CAE, from production to engineering.

The Global Technical Training team delivers classroom and remote theoretical sessions, hands-on maintenance exercises on real equipment, and online learning modules for the CAE simulator fleet.


The role we are offering you:


  • Using your knowledge, you will support the training material developer in expanding the online training offering by module. You will have the autonomy to develop modules independently based on existing maintenance material.
  • As technology evolves, you will participate in and contribute to the development of training materials used by instructors, in collaboration with key stakeholders from various design and assembly phases (engineering, production, project management, etc.).
  • You will become part of a dynamic team of experienced employees committed to delivering an enjoyable and enriching experience to all our clients.

We are looking for someone who:


  • Is currently pursuing university studies in a technical field such as engineering or computer science.
  • Has professional proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset. Preference will be given to bilingual candidates (English and French) with equal qualifications.
  • Has excellent knowledge-sharing skills.
  • Learns quickly in various technological and architectural contexts.
  • Is interested in technical fields and training.
  • Enjoys challenges and seeks non-routine work.
  • Has a strong interest in aviation and flight simulation.
  • Knowledge of Articulate 360 or another online training creation platform is an asset.

Location of the internship is Montreal, QC.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.


*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.


*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
