Entreprise spécialisée en réparation et remise à neuf de locomotives et wagons, CAD Industries ferroviaires est présentement à la recherche de personnes motivées, passionnées, minutieuses et positives pour combler un poste de Tuyauteur.


Responsabilités

Le tuyauteur procédera à l’installation et l’ajustement de tuyaux sur les wagons et locomotives en accomplissant les tâches suivantes :

  • Planifier le travail à accomplir;
  • Travailler avec des tuyaux de cuivre, acier et acier inoxidable de ¼’’ à 2’’ de diamètre;
  • Raccorder les tuyaux et assembler les sous-composantes;
  • Mesurer, couper, tarauder et plier les tuyaux à l'aide d'outils manuels ou mécaniques;
  • Poser et tester les composantes;
  • Nettoyer et entretenir les canalisations et les raccords ainsi que le système d'évacuation
  • Soudure au brasage;
  • Vérifier la qualité du travail exécuté;
  • Remplir les fiches de production;
  • Ranger l’équipement et nettoyer l’aire de travail;
  • Accomplir toute autre tâche pertinente.

Exigences

  • Usage fonctionnel de l’anglais, parlé et lu;
  • Habileté à lire des plans et de schémas;
  • Connaissance des équipements : (locomotive et wagon), un atout ;
  • Habileté à faire des calculs de base;
  • Motivé à apprendre et à développer ses compétences;
  • Flexibilité quant aux tâches à accomplir;
  • Aptitude à travailler en équipe et de façon autonome;
  • Avoir une bonne condition physique et être apte à travailler dans les conditions difficiles : chaleur et froid, bruit, poussière, odeurs, endroits clos et en hauteur;
  • Être capable de travailler debout et de soulever une charge de 18 kilos (40lbs);
  • Horaire de travail de jour ou de soir.

Company specialized in the repair and refurbishment of locomotives and railcars, CAD Railway Industries is currently looking for motivated, passionate, detail-oriented, and positive individuals to fill a Pipefitter position.


Responsibilities


The pipefitter will carry out the installation and adjustment of piping on railcars and locomotives by performing the following tasks:

Plan the work to be completed;
Work with copper, steel, and stainless steel pipes ranging from ¼’’ to 2’’ in diameter;
Connect pipes and assemble subcomponents;
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using manual or mechanical tools;
Install and test components;
Clean and maintain piping systems, fittings, and drainage systems;
Perform brazing operations;
Verify the quality of the work performed;
Complete production sheets;
Store equipment and clean the work area;
Perform any other related tasks.


Requirements


Functional use of English, both spoken and read;
Ability to read blueprints and diagrams;
Knowledge of equipment (locomotives and railcars), an asset;
Ability to perform basic calculations;
Motivated to learn and develop skills;
Flexibility regarding assigned tasks;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Good physical condition and ability to work in challenging environments: heat and cold, noise, dust, odors, confined spaces, and at heights;
Ability to work standing and lift loads up to 18 kg (40 lbs);
Day or evening shift schedule.
