This role is responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and efficient database architectures across multi-cloud environments with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data architecture, cloud-native database solutions, and interoperability across diverse data systems, with the ability to support mission-focused objectives and enterprise-level digital transformation. Key Responsibilities: * Design and manage enterprise cloud-based data infrastructure to meet evolving operational, analytical, and mission support requirements.
* Lead the development of robust, scalable database designs optimized for cloud deployment, performance, and security.
* Ensure compatibility and interoperability across distributed data sources, platforms, and applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with broader IT strategies and mission delivery objectives.
* Optimize database performance and scalability through query tuning, indexing strategies, and lifecycle management.
* Implement and maintain data security controls, backup and recovery solutions, and compliance measures aligned with federal standards.
