Opportunities Available

As a Statistical Programming intern at Stryker, you will:

  • Be responsible for the timely creation, review, completion, and delivery of statistical programming activities and deliverables of study projects.
  • Generate programs to process clinical research data for ease of analysis on ongoing basis, particularly for observational, hypothesis generating studies.
  • Work with statisticians/clinicians and other project team members on documenting/implementing programming endpoint algorithms across a project.
  • Work with internal and external project team members on statistical programming requirements, deliverable status, and resource needs.
  • Perform acquisition/curation of data (RCT, RWE, Public etc.) including Pseudo-CDISC Standardization or full CDISC Standardization, as necessary.
  • Conduct exploratory analyses with statisticians to support publication/abstract submissions.

$20 min hourly wage – $35 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location

What You Need

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge in statistical methodologies related to clinical trial designs, statistical modeling, and data analyses.
  • Strong knowledge of SAS and/or R statistical software.
  • Course work in clinical trials; preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
