Job description

Architectural Designer/Registered Architect

Our growth offers an exciting opportunity for a Architectural Designer or Registered Architect to join our team, supporting the production of technical designs and construction documents. This role involves close collaboration with MEP and structural teams, ensuring project accuracy and compliance.

A successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience as an Architectural Designer with proficiency in Revit or is a Registered Architect with RA licensure with proven construction administration experience. Strong technical writing and communication skills are essential for both positions.

This role primarily focuses on the production and coordination of architectural construction documents, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, and integrating structural and MEP elements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed, accurate construction documents based on prototype design templates and custom project requirements.
  • Develop and integrate technical construction details, focusing on materials and methods for metal stud, masonry, and steel construction.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and regulations across various jurisdictions.
  • Lead space planning and schematic design efforts to meet client specifications and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate MEP and structural elements into architectural designs for seamless project execution.
  • Revise documents to incorporate quality control feedback, client updates, and jurisdictional changes.
  • Assist with construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs.
  • Mentor junior staff members, providing technical guidance and professional development.

Qualifications

Architectural Designer:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial architecture project production.
  • Proficiency in Revit and construction documentation.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Registered Architect:

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial, retail, or industrial design production.
  • RA Licensure required.
  • Experience in construction administration and project coordination.
  • Strong background in Revit for project design and updates.
  • Passion for mentoring junior staff and fostering team development.
