Job Description:

We are continuously hiring Imaging professionals to support a variety of care settings across Salt Lake County. This evergreen posting allows our recruitment team to learn more about your background and connect you with current and upcoming opportunities in clinic, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department environments, as well as other procedural and ambulatory care settings. Candidates are considered based on qualifications, experience, and area of interest as openings become available.

Work Environment & Scheduling
This posting may include opportunities in:

  • Clinic, inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural settings
  • Full-time, part-time, PRN, and variable shifts
  • Multiple locations throughout Salt Lake County

Imaging Specialty Scope

Depending on experience, licensure, and certification, roles may include:

  • Radiologic Technologist (Registered)
  • Radiologic Technologist II / Senior Radiologic Technologist
  • Limited Scope Radiographer

Opportunities may include general diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, mobile imaging, and support of procedural services, based on role and department needs. Training opportunities may be available for candidates who meet minimum licensure or registry eligibility requirements, depending on modality and department needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification or registry eligibility, as required by role
  • Current Radiologic Technologist or Limited Scope Radiographer license in state of practice, as applicable
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

Physical Requirements

  • Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
  • Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
  • Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
  • May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
