Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer Intermediate who will work on Redstone Arsenal, AL, on our TEAMS Next Facility Lifecycle Management contract supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This individual will support MDA's Foreign Military Sales (FMS) effort.
Responsibilities:
  • Hybrid work (government facility and telework, as required by customer); Up to 50% travel, including travel overseas and to the Middle East; All work documents will be in English.
  • Support the Government in the review of Engineering Design Documents for the FMS case support
  • Prepare reports and document engineering design changes required for the design update after review
  • Travel to construction sites (U.S. and international) for engineering support and construction quality review for multiple sites.
  • Support the final system check-out for building systems and facilities at multiple sites.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field
  • DoD Secret clearance

Desired:
  • Master's Degree in Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in any U.S. state
  • Ability to review Architect/Engineer (A/E) facility design plans, specifications, and contract documents as needed for various facilities

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to operate independently and lead various working groups in support of facility projects
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites
  • Capable of working independently or in a team to solve problems
  • Capable of providing daily supervision and direction to support teams
  • Ability to resolve issues and make sound decisions that are in the best interest of the government customer
  • Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize work
  • Ability to learn and support multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Able to develop strong rapport with personnel representing internal and external organizations
