Job description

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling LED lighting to electrical supply distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. This role involves both acquiring new clients in the Vancouver area and managing the existing client base. The position offers a base salary plus commission.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base salary: base salary plus commission, commission 5% to 2% depending on the project
  • First-year OTE: $100,000
  • Laptop

Our client, with over 8 years in business and a team of 16 employees locally, specializes in LED lighting and has successfully led the industry with a variety of industry-leading products. Among the line of products that made the brand successful are LED strip fixtures, alongside other ranges of LED fixtures, lamps and other lighting solutions. They are a trusted supplier to many electrical distributors.

OFFICE LOCATION AND SALES TERRITORY:

  • Head Office: Concord, ON
  • This is an Outside Sales role, travelling and meeting clients within the GTA Area.
  • Sales Territory: Ontario Area

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-15 years of B2B outside sales experience, particularly in lighting, electrical products, or related fields such as HVAC, mechanical, or engineering.
  • Preferably holds a university degree in engineering.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • MS Office: Intermediate
  • CRM: Intermediate

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION:

  • LED lighting

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S)
