SUMMARY

Lucky in Love is a ladies active/tennis/golf apparel manufacturing company based in Miami, FL. We are hiring an entry level assistant that is proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel whose primary responsibility will be to assist in all aspects of technical design.


Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approval process for fabric lab dips and fabric lots
  • Communicate effectively with fabric and trim suppliers
  • Prepare, send, and track lab dip requests/submits
  • Assist in preparation of technical packages
  • Organize and maintain fabric library
  • Log and organize fabric submits
  • Record keeping of in house fabrics and trims
  • Fabric sourcing/development
  • Maintain fabric request log
  • Issue sample purchase orders to fabric mills and vendors
  • Assist in tracking progress of sample fabrics according to development calendar
  • Upload images for seasonal cut/sold report
  • Download and print seasonal cut/sold repot bi-weekly
  • Ordering, receiving, tracking and returning inspiration samples for design development


Skills/qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of garment construction
  • Must have creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills


Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design or Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design
  • Successful completion of courses in:
