Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Fort Myers Beach. Our facility is designed to promote healing and recovery, equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment to enhance treatment outcomes. You will work amongst a friendly and supportive team that values collaboration, continuing education, and professional development. Your schedule will primarily consist of Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule with the flexibility to choose your own hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients in a home care environment, focusing on their individual needs and health conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient to promote healing and mobility.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise, hands-on techniques, and the utilization of equipment, to alleviate pain and enhance physical function.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Continuously monitor and reassess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, self-care strategies, and the correct use of assistive devices to promote independence and safety.
  • Stay current in the field by participating in workshops, pursuing continuing education, and engaging with professional physical therapy networks and organizations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of conditions from post-operative recoveries and sports injuries to chronic illnesses and mobility challenges. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • State license to practice as a Physical Therapist
