This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Fort Myers Beach. Our facility is designed to promote healing and recovery, equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment to enhance treatment outcomes. You will work amongst a friendly and supportive team that values collaboration, continuing education, and professional development. Your schedule will primarily consist of Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule with the flexibility to choose your own hours.

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients in a home care environment, focusing on their individual needs and health conditions.
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient to promote healing and mobility.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise, hands-on techniques, and the utilization of equipment, to alleviate pain and enhance physical function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Continuously monitor and reassess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, self-care strategies, and the correct use of assistive devices to promote independence and safety.
• Stay current in the field by participating in workshops, pursuing continuing education, and engaging with professional physical therapy networks and organizations.

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of conditions from post-operative recoveries and sports injuries to chronic illnesses and mobility challenges. You will be actively involved in helping patients regain their independence, improve their physical capabilities, and enhance their overall wellness in a warm and inclusive environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• State license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on patient interaction and collaboration with team members
• Intermediate computer skills, particularly in using electronic health record systems and treatment documentation platforms
• Willingness to learn and adapt, displaying a flexible and agile approach to patient care
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior work experience is not required.

Though prior experience is not mandatory, familiarity with hands-on therapy techniques, home care practices, and a commitment to continuous professional development are advantageous for candidates. A background in working with diverse patient demographics will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care.
