Responsibilities
  • Perform prewire and/or trim installations for residential low-voltage systems.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot residential security systems.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete residential installations and service calls.
  • Operate testing equipment including volt meters, multimeters, and wire toners.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and homeowners.
Qualifications
  • Strong background in electronics, low-voltage integration, or a solid work history with an established audio/video or low-voltage contractor.
  • Working knowledge of residential security systems.
  • Experience installing and servicing both small and large residential systems.
  • Experience with new alarm system installations, service calls, monitoring setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with DSC, Honeywell, and Interlogix security systems is preferred.
  • Must own basic hand tools.
  • Basic knowledge of audio, video, and home alarm systems.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
