  • Assist government personnel in identifying and resolving immediate and future space planning and occupancy needs.
  • Perform field measurements and validate existing facility conditions.
  • Conduct space audits to verify occupancy, utilization, personnel bed-downs, and space allocation accuracy.
  • Resolve spatial orientation and space utilization challenges within assigned facilities.
  • Develop and modify space layouts, floor plans, and occupancy configurations using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and floor plans.
  • Coordinate projects and planning efforts with engineers, designers, project managers, quality assurance personnel, furniture teams, and government stakeholders.
  • Prepare recommendations regarding facility utilization, occupancy planning, and strategic space management initiatives.
  • Generate utilization, capacity, occupancy, and vacancy reports using the ARCHIBUS database.
  • Maintain accurate space inventory and occupancy records.
  • Assist in identifying gaps and discrepancies within accountable space inventories, including 1450 and 1450-1 accountable spaces.
  • Support planning studies, compliance documentation, and facility planning reports.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements related to space planning efforts.
  • Prepare written communications, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize assignments to meet organizational requirements and deadlines.
  • Perform domestic and international travel as required to conduct facility assessments and space audits.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Engineering, Planning, or a related field and 6+ years of experience or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience using ARCHIBUS Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for space planning and facility layout development.
  • Experience conducting facility space audits, occupancy assessments, and utilization studies.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and construction drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe products.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including periodic overseas travel.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or other federal government facilities.
  • Knowledge of facility management, workplace strategy, and strategic space planning principles.
  • Experience supporting large-scale occupancy planning or relocation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with facility utilization metrics, occupancy analytics, and reporting methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in secure or mission-critical environments.

Determination: The final salary offered will be based on the awarded contract funding and the selected candidate’s experience, education, and geographic location.
