Job description

Seeking reliable individual for installations at a well-established sign company. Previous sign experience, familiarity with interior/exterior installs and bucket trucks are a big plus for this full-time position. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Sign Installation Job Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed site surveys to assess needs and plan installation.
  • Transport sign materials and equipment to job sites in company vehicles.
  • Operate light to heavy equipment, truck and trailer use.
  • Communicate the installation process to the customer and resolve concerns.
  • Read and follow blueprint plans and install signs as specified on ladders, trucks, indoors/outdoors, crawl spaces, roofs, etc....
  • Safe use of power tools and equipment with acrylic, aluminum, masonry and wood.
  • Use general electrical knowledge to do basic hookups, or willingness to learn.
  • Other responsibilities as requested in and out of the shop.

Ideal Candidates for this Position
  • Have good mechanical aptitude and basic construction knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of geometry, good math and measurement skills.
  • Must have clean driving record.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, high level of dependability and integrity.
  • Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities and work orders to meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Able to stand for long periods, lift 50 or more pounds and endure physical exertion.
  • Work with a sense of urgency, be safety minded, clean and neat.
  • An excellent and punctual attendance record is a must.
