Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Property Maintenance Worker to maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our facilities. This role is responsible for both interior and exterior maintenance, helping ensure our property remains clean, safe, and in excellent working condition year-round.

 

Key Responsibilities

Exterior Maintenance

  • Perform routine cleanup of outdoor areas, including removing leaves, sticks, and debris
  • Maintain safe and clean walkways and entrances
  • Provide snow and ice removal during winter months (reliable transportation required during inclement weather)

Interior Maintenance

  • Perform basic electrical work such as replacing light fixtures, tube lights, and running new electrical lines
  • Hang and mount items on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, wood, and metal
  • Perform basic plumbing tasks, including clearing clogs, snaking drains, and making minor sink repairs
  • Complete deep cleaning and detailed maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in general building maintenance, handyman work, or facilities maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
  • Physically able to lift, bend, climb, and work in a variety of conditions
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Reliable transportation, especially during winter weather
