What is an interior foreman?

Interior Foremen are supervisory professionals responsible for overseeing and coordinating interior construction or renovation projects. They manage teams of workers, ensure project specifications and safety standards are met, and communicate progress to project managers or clients. Their duties include scheduling tasks, inspecting work quality, ordering materials, and resolving on-site issues. Interior Foremen play a critical role in ensuring that interior building projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

What are some common challenges an interior foreman faces when managing multiple subcontractors on a project?

An Interior Foreman often coordinates various subcontractors, such as electricians, plumbers, and drywall installers, which can lead to scheduling conflicts and communication challenges. Job description

We are seeking an Experienced Foreman with 4-7+ years experience to lead a fairly inexperienced team of painters. Currently there are two painters both with less than 1.5 years experience so we need someone with more to balance it out. We will occasionally have other jobs such as removing and patching wallpaper and I'm looking to expand into more than just painting in the next coming months.

You will be in charge if this team and have complete control over the team. We would rather pay you to stay an extra hour or so and have it done correctly rather than have a job rushed.

We have standing jobs at a large apartment complex.

Hours will range from 10-30+/week

Reliable transportation required

Commission pay is negotiable
