Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end residential design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to bring our clients' visions to life. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious residential projects in the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget to develop personalized design concepts.
  • Create detailed design plans and drawings, sketches and renderings, mood boards, presentations, and material selections.
  • Manage all phases of the design process, from initial consultation to final installation.
  • Source and procure finishes, plumbing, appliances, furniture, lighting and accessories that align with the design vision and project budget.
  • Coordinate with vendors, architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously bring fresh ideas and solutions to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end residential interior design; Hospitality background a plus.
  • Previous management skills preferred.
  • Previous pricing/procurement experience
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of high-end residential projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • AutoCAD, Revit and/or ArchiCAD ~ Ability to produce high quality drawings/drafting required.
  • InDesign and Photoshop

COMPENSATION

This is a full-time, salaried position. Compensation commensurate with experience.
