Job description

Interior Designer – Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a talented and experienced interior designer to join our design team in Atlanta. The designer will be self‑directed, manage project phases from concept through construction administration, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designs.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to determine best approach.
  • Select furnishings, finishes, and prepare FFE specifications.
  • Increase technical and functional skills in related technologies, including Revit, Bluebeam, Enscape, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and other 3D modeling and rendering programs.
  • Act as a project manager for small and medium projects and teams.
  • Develop relationships and interact with clients.
  • Communicate with client agents, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Participate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firm.
  • Build and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firm’s strengths and goals.
  • Mentor and develop team members.
  • Assist with all conventional aspects of interior design and all project phases.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Interior Design from a CIDA‑accredited school.
  • 8+ years of experience in a professional interior design environment.
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, Enscape, 3D modeling and rendering programs; Revit experience is required.
  • Knowledge of materials, project design, and preparation of construction documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a collaborative, professional manner.
  • Problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and a desire to learn.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be a NCIDQ certified interior designer or be on track to becoming certified in the future.
