Design-Focused Flooring Sales Consultant

Griffith Flooring Service Llc

Beech Grove, IN • On-site

$50K - $300K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 8 days ago

Job description

Griffith Flooring Service is seeking a polished, design-aware Sales Consultant to join our team.

We are not in a high-pressure retail environment. Our niche is service, education, and professionalism. The consultation begins in our showroom, not in the home. We believe in building genuine rapport, educating our clients, and thoughtfully guiding them through product selection before ever stepping into their space.

This is a relationship-driven sales role for someone who understands that flooring is foundational to a home’s overall design and can confidently speak to color theory, style cohesion, material performance, and long-term value.

What You’ll Do:

• Create a refined, welcoming boutique showroom experience
• Consult with clients and educate them on flooring products, materials, and performance
• Guide decisions around color, tone, texture, and overall aesthetic cohesion
• Connect flooring selections to cabinetry, wall color, lighting, and architectural style
• Build trust before conducting in-home measurements
• Prepare estimates and close profitable projects
• Maintain strong margins while delivering exceptional service
• Communicate clearly with both clients and our operations team

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong consultative sales ability
• A sharp eye for design, color coordination, and interior style
• Professional presence and articulate communication
• High integrity and personal accountability
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Flooring, remodeling, or interior design experience preferred

This is a commission-based position with significant earning potential for a true professional who values service, education, and doing things the right way.

If you take pride in professionalism, design guidance, and building lasting client relationships — and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing respected local company — we’d love to connect.

To apply, please email your resume and a brief introduction.
Serious inquiries only.
