About The Role
The RealReal is seeking established, highly autonomous luxury professionals with an existing book of business to join us as a Luxury Sales Specialist. This is a 100% commission-based role, offering ultimate flexibility and uncapped earning potential for independent self-starters who already possess a deep network within the high-net-worth sector.
As an LSS, you will act as a premier brand ambassador, leveraging your current relationships to strategically acquire high-value luxury consignment inventory from private clients. If you are a stylist, personal shopper, real estate agent, or luxury retail professional looking to monetize your existing network on a flexible, part-time basis, this role is built for you.

  • Drive Independent Growth: Develop and execute your own creative outreach and networking strategies to consistently bring in high-end luxury consignments and cultivate deeper longer lasting client relationships.
  • Manage End-to-End Logistics: Secure luxury items from clients and seamlessly coordinate pickup, valuation, and secure shipment to our authentication centers.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide a flawless, premium experience throughout the consignment lifecycle to ensure maximum client retention and repeat business.
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:
  • Established Book of Business: A robust, active personal and professional network capable of immediately generating recurring, high-value luxury consignment opportunities and new sellers.
  • Luxury Brand Expertise: Deep knowledge of and passion for top-tier luxury brands across Handbags, Fine Jewelry, Watches, and Ready-to-Wear.
  • Autonomous & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proven ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and drive results without daily oversight.
  • Sophisticated Relationship Management: Exceptional professionalism and the business acumen required to maintain trust with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Digital Proficiency: Comfort utilizing CRM tools and digital platforms to manage your client pipeline.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel within your regional market to meet clients on-site as needed.
    • A current, valid driver's license (except in Manhattan and Chicago markets)
    • Car insurance meeting local requirements and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
