JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

TheBlack School of Business at Penn State Behrendis seeking qualified applicants foradjunct faculty positionsacross a variety of disciplines for the 2025-2026 academic year. We invite applications from individuals with expertise in the following areas:

  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Functional Data Analytics
  • Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering Studies
  • Interdisciplinary Science and Business
  • International Business
  • Management Information Systems
  • Marketing
  • Project and Supply Chain Management

Position Responsibilities:

Adjunct faculty will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality instruction in assigned courses
  • Creating and utilizing syllabi and course materials approved by the School
  • Fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
  • Providing timely feedback and academic support to students
  • Collaborating with faculty and adhering to departmental standards

Qualifications:

  • Amaster's degreein the relevant discipline or a closely related field is required.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Appointment Details:

  • These aresemester-by-semester,non-tenure-trackacademic appointments.
  • Positions areoffered without benefits and do not guarantee renewal.
