As a Tapeout and Mask Operations engineer, the candidate will work with our global team of engineers and product owners on business transformation projects that drive process optimizations and product modernization.   • Handson work with cuttingedge cloud technologies, partnering closely with Product Lines, Manufacturing Fabs, Customer Sales, EDA and cloud vendors, and IT teams to streamline and modernize tapeout workflows.
  • Opportunities to make visible impact by driving efficiency and improving quality through innovative tools-such as an interactive design studio that integrates EDA tools, LSF cost analytics, and tapeout metrics.
  • Exposure to complex, realworld technology challenges, delivered using agile methodologies and deep crossfunctional collaboration, enabling you to build a strong, endtoend understanding of the customer tapeout lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Enable scalable, Electronic Design Automation (EDA) functions in a Cloud environment.
  • Continuously learn and explore new technologies and trends in tapeout interactive tool/app development, including AI/ML technologies and AWS services
  • Create data visualizations, tools to view EDA tool outputs to bring process improvements and documentation.
  • Data analytics on Tapeout processing key performance indicators (KPIs), to drive optimized performance of Cloud Tapeout execution.
  • Support customer Tapeouts, Mask manufacturing enablement, Fab Wafer start enablement

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education - Graduating with bachelor's /master's (preferred) degree in electrical and computer engineering, data science or related field from an accredited degree program.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.5 GPA and proven good academic standing.
  • Architecting and developing process improvement automations and KPI metrics using Python, Angular, Quicksight, and PowerApps in various cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases to process tapeout / EDA data.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Knowledge of developing business process improvement tools in cloud utilizing out of box services.
  • Knowledge of project life cycle, exposure to project managements tools like ADO, JIRA and integration pipeline tools like Bamboo, GIT, Jenkins etc..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, planning & organizational skills
  • Must be proactive, with a desire to continuously improve system solutions, process documentation, and operating procedures.
  • Knowledge/working with Semi-conductor domain (Foundry) is a plus.
