This is Hybrid role (4 days in office /1 day remote)
About your Team:
The team is responsible for the company's proprietary trading, which includes market making on ForecastEx, after hours US stock market making and support for our option market making in India and Hong Kong. In addition we engage in trading activities that reduce the company's overall risk exposure.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:
The person will support market-making activities across stocks, forex, futures, and options, with the group's current focus being on the binary options offered on the ForecastEx exchange. The support involves overseeing the activity and updates of the automated trading systems, looking for anomalous activity and tuning input parameters to control the activity. The support systems use the Linux shell, along with some web-based interfaces.
The team is looking for a motivated individual who either already has the below experience and skills or is willing to learn on the job.
Desirable Experience :
  • Options trading experience, especially options market making experience.

Desirable Skills:
  • Data analysis using Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, Statsci)
  • Statistics
  • Linux shell

Qualifications:
  • At least a bachelor's degree (a science, economics, or engineering degree, with math, physics, or computer science preferred). A master's or PhD degree would be a plus.
