Consult with the leadership on strategy and requirements for best use of ALM tools and advise stakeholder on best way to utilize the TFS and Release Manager to achieve ALM initiatives.
- Provide consultative support to Application Configuration Management and Architecture Governance Committee on platform configuration and operations related matters.
- Monitor and maintain the health of the overall TFS and Release Manager platforms.
- Ensure TFS and Release Management are leveraging security infrastructure correctly. Proactively govern security and enforce policies.

Requirements:
The Team Foundation Server Team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineer to lead the support of GEICO's Team Foundation Server and Release Management (InRelease) environments with a focus on supporting GEICO adopted Application Life-Cycle Management practices across MSI and legacy development teams.
The TFS Team delivers all facets of engineering and platform support for TFS 2013 and Release Manager in the Azure IaaS environment to support modernization development efforts. The TFS Team also supports TFS 2013 on-prem to support legacy development teams that do not have development workloads in Azure IaaS.
Well-qualified candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate ability to coordinate efforts across functional areas.


Qualifications
Desired Skills:
- Advanced knowledge and interaction of the TFS architecture and administration of all related components
- Advanced knowledge of TFS development and customization concepts (process templates, work item type customization, custom reports and dashboards)
- Advanced knowledge and interaction of Release Management Server architecture and administration of all related components
- Advanced Scripting capabilities in: PowerShell, SQL, TFS Command line
- Intermediate skills with XML.
- Working knowledge and interaction with Windows Server administration (2008/2012)
