The Business Intelligence & Analytics teamis responsible forproviding business analytics data products and solutions for internal business unit stakeholders. As a senior member of this team, you will haveautonomyto make decisions in your work and help our team provide the business withhigh qualitydata. Our team works hard to improve andtackleshard problems head on.

This role plays a critical part inPacksize'stransition to a modern analytics platform built on Databricks and Power BI. The Business Intelligence Developer will design trusted data models, scalable metrics, and self-service reporting experiences that enable teams across the business to make better decisions.

Key Results and Deliverables (What does success look like):

  • Define, design, build, and audit key performance indicators (KPIs), performance metrics, and/or other reporting needs as requested by internal stakeholders

  • Design andmaintainscalable Power BI semantic models (star schema-based) with certified datasets and reusable measures that enable governed self-service reporting.

  • Monitor data quality,establishvalidation processes, and proactively address anomalies or discrepancies

  • Independently manage end-to-end business intelligence projects, from requirements gathering and data analysis to solution design, implementation, and delivery, with minimal supervision or guidance

  • Participate in cross-functional project teams, providing actionable insights and support to producehigh qualitydeliverables that stand the test of time

  • Follow best practices for collecting, analyzing, and generating insights to improve business functions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar in business management, information systems, software engineering, or finance, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience preferred; orMaster's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent

  • Ability to distill complex information into easily consumable reports, statements and communications that provides insights, enabling quick decision making

  • Hands-on experience in business intelligence, reporting, and analytics, with experience in creating complex algorithms, formulas, and calculations

  • Hands-on experience building semantic models, measures, and reports in Power BI isrequired. Experience developing analytics solutions on Databricks (including SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization) is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to communicate and influence across disparate groups and levels in the organization and manage multiple stakeholder expectations, timelines, and deliverables

  • Proactivelyinitiates, develops, andmaintainseffective working relationships with team members

  • Commitment to client needs and satisfaction, humility in the face of constructive, well-meaning feedback, and production of high-quality work that builds trust and confidence with stakeholders
