Job description

Job Duties:

Our client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as the key link between data and decision-making. This position is responsible for designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights to business leaders. By leveraging tools such as Power BI and SQL, the analyst ensures data integrity and performance while presenting information in a way that supports strategic and operational goals.

Beyond technical expertise, this role requires strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Strategy teams. The analyst will translate complex data into meaningful narratives, help stakeholders understand trends, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. This position is foundational to building a culture of data-driven decision-making and advancing the organization's analytics capabilities.


Required Experience and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or higher
  2. Deep understanding of and experience with PowerBI
  3. Proven ability to write SQL queries
  4. Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions, including KPI development and storytelling through data visualization.
  5. Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Strategy) to deliver insights that drive decision-making.
  6. Strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas; familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and visualization is a plus
  7. Strong problem solving and analytical skills resulting in pragmatic business solutions
  8. Strong work ethics and preference for teamwork
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  1. Experience with open source languages such as R or Python.
  2. Deep Experience with the Microsoft stack (i.e. PowerBI, Fabirc, Azure, etc.)
  3. Proven working knowledge of Finance, Operations, or Corporate Strategy.
