Job description

This is a part-time internship position for our Fall rotation, from September 8th, 2025 through December 12th, 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

WHAT AWAITS YOU.

  • As an AI and Data Analytics Intern, you will work closely with our Sr. Data Analyst and our IT Project Manager to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, machine learning, and technology integration.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to extract valuable insights from large datasets, helping to shape business strategies.
  • Assist the Sr. Data Analyst with various analytical projects, e.g. data analysis to report new issues and compile power points for reporting to management or product engineers.
  • Develop and create dashboards, by defining the purpose and target audience, choose the right tools and techniques, and finally, design a clear and user-friendly layout with relevant visualizations. 
  • Assist the IT Project Manager in implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in systems used in Technical Service, e.g. developing and training machine learning models, analyzing data, and supporting AI research. 
  • Evaluate the service process and work to improve efficiency and create improved forms of information delivery to our customers.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have completed at least 60 college credits or be at least a rising Junior 
  • Field of study: Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
  • Ability to work part-time (20-29 hours/week)
  • Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international students only)

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90

The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80
