Job Title: Molding Tooling Engineer
Location: Libertyville, IL
 

Job Description:

Seeking a Molding Tooling Engineer with 8+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing and injection mold tooling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mold design, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to support high-quality production.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with injection molding, hot runner systems, and mold/tool design & validation
  • Hands-on experience with DFM, mold qualification (FIR/FPR), tooling optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Creo/ProE, Windchill, SolidWorks, and MS Office
  • Experience collaborating with production, design, and tooling teams to improve quality and efficiency
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant tooling engineering experience

Preferred:

  • Basic injection molding machine operation experience
  • Knowledge of thermoplastics, mold flow analysis, and electronic/PCB assembly & testing.
