Job description


Core Responsibilities

  • Work onsite as a PCIS / Controls & Instrumentation Engineer in a process plant environment.
  • Troubleshoot power, control, instrumentation, MCC, VFD, and electrical system issues.
  • Develop engineering design packages for power, controls, and instrumentation installations.
  • Support equipment changes, upgrades, installation, commissioning, and startup.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, construction teams, and offshore engineering teams.
  • Support production improvements, breakdown elimination, and electrical startup activities.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Controls, Instrumentation, Electrical, or PCIS Engineering experience.
  • Experience developing instrumentation and control design packages for industrial/process plants.
  • Hands-on experience with process instrumentation selection, setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with PLC/SCADA, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley controls, MCCs, and VFDs.
  • Knowledge of NEC, UL 508A, Machine Safety CAT 3 wiring, and NFPA 70E.


Must Have

  • 6+ years of PCIS / Controls / Instrumentation experience
  • Process plant or industrial manufacturing experience
  • PLC/SCADA and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley experience
  • MCC, VFD, and electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Instrumentation design, selection, and calibration
  • NEC, UL 508A, CAT 3 wiring, and NFPA 70E knowledge


Preferred

  • Fisher Valves, Micro Motion Flowmeters, Rosemount, or Endress+Hauser experience
  • Electrical distribution and MCC design experience
  • Equipment installation, commissioning, and startup experience
  • Vendor and construction coordination experience


Nice to Have

  • Commissioning, qualification, and validation experience
  • Packaging or process equipment startup experience
  • Production improvement and breakdown elimination experience
