As an Info Security DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding Intel's sensitive data and enhancing its global security posture. Your expertise will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise security systems, leveraging Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
This role is instrumental in fortifying Intel's compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements while supporting the integration and lifecycle management of critical systems.
By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll create innovative solutions that limit risk exposure, ensure the effectiveness of security controls, and enable Intel to stay at the forefront of the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage Intel's proxy capability. Work with architects and product owner to ensure the proxy capability is secure yet usable for a business.
  • Design, implement, and manage security systems that protect sensitive data, ensuring confidentiality and availability.
  • Collaborate with system engineers, network engineers, and database administrators to develop and maintain robust security solutions.
  • Apply Agile and DevOps principles to design and deliver scalable, automated security measures across infrastructure and software.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve security issues to maintain a secure enterprise environment.
  • Develop and validate functional requirements, identifying potential gaps or risks in alignment with business and security objectives.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the health and effectiveness of security controls, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Lead research efforts into emerging security technologies, driving innovation and strategic advancements.
  • Automate manual processes, streamline data delivery, and address technical debt to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support lifecycle management, including the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD automation and security systems.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

  • OR Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience per business needs with 3+ years of experience.

Experience listed above should be a combination of the following:
  • Working with Proxy technologies.
  • Web Security protocols.
  • Proficiency in automation and DevOps tools for deploying and managing security measures.
  • Working in information security, network protocols, and network security controls.
  • Identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
  • Working with key security tools and systems validation for optimal performance.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Experience working with risk management frameworks, security testing methodologies, and validation strategies.
  • Advanced technical leadership skills, including mentorship and influencing without direct authority.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting, configuration management, and CI/CD automation tools.
