Job Purpose and Impact

The CBI Sr. Market Analystwill work as a subject matter expert to develop a broad and deep understanding of the general business, industry, competitive and market environment through data driven analysis and compelling insights generation to help business leaders achieve strategic objectives. In this role, you will need to access internal and external data to produce complex analysis of markets, economics, competition and the broader business environment by developing and enabling various analytics, models, analysis and reports that drive business decisions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Providethought leadership to gather, organize, synthesize and curate highly complex, ambiguous and diverse data sources to develop and execute highly specialized analysis and advanced analytics and identify and interpret new meaningful trends or patterns.
  • Applyadvanced business and industry knowledge and other contextual data to identify, capture and model critical market insights along with short and long term implications for the business. Collect and model such insights and market analysis into CBI data platform integrating with the existing internal operational data and reports across the business.
  • Partner collaboratively withkey business stakeholders across the organization ( Strategy, Marketing, Finance, MSC, PMO, commercial) to generate cross functional insights from multiple markets and diverse sources and activate those insights across the organization to drive strategic, portfolio and commercial decisions to drive performance and achieve business goals.
  • Providethought leadership and drive consistent processes to capture data and apply advanced research and analytics tools, methodologies, systems and platforms to continuously improve and optimize market insights, analytics and modeling capabilities, leveraging AI and other advanced tools in partnership with the CBI Data and Analytics team.
  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven track record of working closely with commercial teams in fast chancing markets.
  • Technical background such as "data scientist" working in a market research context.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad and deep knowledge of market research and analytics tools and methodologies
  • Track record and hands on experience building unique insights leveraging public data and external views e.g. demand drivers by market, competitors intel, etc.

The expected salary for this position is $140,000 - $200,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
