These pipelines transport natural gas and hazardous liquid petroleum products throughout the US and the world. The company develops desktop, web and mobile applications that help pipeline operators manage information about pipeline assets and ensure safe operation. The company supports these implementations and applications with professional services that include pipeline risk analysis, data conversion, data migration and consulting.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

Integrity Plus is searching for a self-motivated individual with previous Integrity Management and GIS experience to join our Integrity Management Team. This consulting role supports both large and small pipeline operators in a variety of integrity services consulting capacities. This opportunity provides for professional growth and flexibility by developing innovative solutions in a collaborative work environment. This client facing position must meet the needs of our customers while maintaining a strong presence as an industry leader in the oil and gas pipeline field. The position of Integrity Analyst I is responsible for integrating, processing, and analyzing tabular and spatial data to assist customers with meeting their integrity management requirements.

Responsibilities are presented in order of priority a­­­nd include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support clients in Integrity Management Program (IMP) efforts
    • Support clients with the requirements of Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations: 49 CFR 192, Subpart O, Gas Transmission Pipeline Integrity Management, 49 CFR 192, Subpart, P, Gas Distribution Integrity Management, 49 CFR 195.452, Integrity Management in High Consequence Areas
    • Consequence Analysis (Hazardous Liquids and Natural Gas)
      • Liquids spill analysis (overland flow and channel flow)
      • Air dispersion analysis
      • Potential Impacts Radius (PIR)
      • Class Location
      • High Consequence Area (HCA) intersects
    • Data Integration, supporting:
      • In Line Inspection Conditions
      • Corrosion Growth Analysis
      • AC Power Interference Studies
      • Maximum Operating Pressure Validation
      • Risk Modeling
    • Analyze pipeline spatial and technical data, designs, or preliminary specifications
    • Create databases, design data structure and properties
    • Provide clients high-level functional and analysis skills in GIS integration, documentation, and implementation; assists with problem solving
    • Technical writing supporting client deliverables
    • Maintain the Integrity Plus standard for quality deliverables
    • Technical sales and marketing support as requested
    • Provide training to internal and external stakeholders
    • Meet continuing education requirements as assigned
    • Assist with other project tasks as requested
    • Compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Other responsibilities as identified by the Integrity Services Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering degree or similar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate virtually and in a team-oriented environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in GIS with demonstrable advanced experience in:
    • Editing and Linear Referencing GIS Data
    • Spatial Intersection Methods
    • VBA and/or SQL Programming
    • Esri ArcGIS (10.x and above)
    • Esri ArcPro
    • Esri ArcGIS Online (AGOL)
    • Google Earth
  • Familiarity with PODS, UPDM and other industry data models
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience serving in a pipeline integrity management focused role
  • Demonstrable working experience using:
    • New Century Software Applications
