Description
Roofer Assistants support roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs. They handle tasks such as preparing materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting with basic roofing duties under supervision. As they gain experience, they may progress to more advanced role.
  • Assist in the installation and repair of roofing systems, including shingles, metal, and flat roofs
  • Help prepare job sites by gathering necessary materials and tools
  • Support lead roofers by following instructions and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Participate in the removal of old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times

Working knowledge of different roofing systems

The ability to lift heavy materials and tools
