As a member of the product team, your scope of work will be cross-functional and span multiple platform areas as assigned. You will support the integration product lifecycle from concept to launch and contribute to release planning activities. Develop subject matter expertise and represent assigned integration capabilities in internal and external engagements

 

How You’ll Contribute

Support the execution and delivery of integration capabilities across Envestnet platforms. Focuses on delivering business value through system connectivity (APIs, data flows, partner connectivity) rather than standalone product features. Gathers requirements from internal stakeholders, clients and external partners, translating business needs into clear integration specifications, data mappings and prioritization. Works with engineering, product, compliance and business teams contributing to ensure integrations are scalable, secure, reliable and compliant. Supports monitoring integration performance, partner constraints and ecosystem dependencies to drive continuous improvement. As needed, performs the functions of the traditional Product Management job family.

This is a business product management role requiring a mix of product owner/manager skills, client empathy, technical acumen, and cross-functional team experience. You will collaborate with product leaders to help align integration capabilities with client needs, business priorities, and platform objectives.

This role operates with increasing ownership under moderate supervision and collaborates effectively across cross-functional teams. They work closely with other product managers, engineering, design, business stakeholders, and technical writing to deliver scalable, high-impact capabilities to market.

  • Participates in feature discovery, requirements refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release readiness activities throughout the software development lifecycle. 
  • Provides Product Integrations support for assigned integration(s), partner(s) or components, including client and other third-party use of APIs, Single Sign-on, and data extracts. 
  • Leverages client feedback, business strategy, data / analytics and technology to deliver effective connectivity outcomes. 
  • Analyzes business problems and documents integration requirements for engineering teams. 
  • Supports design, build, and implementation of RESTful APIs, Single Sign-on, and data extracts, collaborating with other Product Managers and engineering. 
  • Produces integration specifications including mappings, workflows and acceptance criteria. 
  • Coordinates implementation activities with engineering and partner teams; supports testing and validation; includes scheduled activities outside business hours. 
  • Supports issue / problem resolution and contributes to integration documentation and collateral. 
  • Tracks integration deliverables and help prioritize defects and client requests. 
  • Collaborates with cross-functional scrum teams and participates in backlog refinement, prioritization discussions, and grooming activities. 
  • Contributes to roadmap planning and supports execution of integration initiatives aligned with strategic objectives. 
  • Manages assigned backlog items and release priorities with guidance from product leadership when needed. 
  • Consistently meets expectations for responsiveness, quality and stakeholder communication. 
  • Client and prospect support – partner with product managers and support teams to support go-to-market planning and develop enablement materials for new capabilities.
  • Support launch readiness activities and coordinate partner communications for assigned releases
  • May perform other duties as assigned, supporting team and organization deliverables

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant experience, in product management, business analysis, software delivery, platform technologies, APIs, integrations, or related disciplines, with a strong background in product development disciplines.
  • Experience with integration technologies, including APIs, SSO, open platform capabilities; experience participating in API implementation initiatives that address customer or business needs.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across teams
  • Passion for clean solution design, clear, and concise documentation
  • Ability to solve problems in a simple, repeatable way
  • Business savvy with a technical inclination

Our Investment in You 

This role offers a base salary range of $94,600 to $118,300. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.  This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
