Position Overview: As a leader of the Controls Systems Integrators, you are responsible for leading the department aspects of integrating building automation networks and creating front-end system graphical interfaces for building operators. You will collaborate with discipline leaders (Design Engineers, Programming, Field Engineering) and your team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to specification. This position demands a strategic visionary leader with practical experience to orchestrate the design and implementation of building automation control systems, surpassing the expectations of end-users.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Systems Integrators using various manufactures of DDC/PLC style controllers to form a reliable building automation network
  • Lead the department to create Tridium/Niagara based, accurate graphic interfaces for building operators
  • Manage the library of graphical floor plans, unit schematics, and graphical schedules for building operations
  • Assist other disciplines in implementing design intent
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to uphold technical competency and ensure quality control
  • Serve as a key resource and advisor to evaluate employee effectiveness, development and engagement
  • Ensure all controls systems comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in HVAC controls technologies and industry best practices
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications + Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
  • B.S. Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on practical solutions that exceed client expectations
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Leadership & management skills to motivate, coach, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment
  • Working knowledge using Microsoft 365 suite + Visio + Bluebeam + Niagara Workbench

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 - $180,000 in Illinois. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
