• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, carefully evaluating how medical conditions affect patients' mental health.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques customized to meet each patient's needs.

• Collaborate closely with medical providers to ensure a unified treatment approach leading to effective patient outcomes.

• Respond to mental health crises with timely intervention, providing immediate support and strategies to manage acute symptoms.

Your primary focus will be on patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions, including chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. By addressing these complex needs, you will help to improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Deep understanding of the mental health needs of individuals facing medical complexities.

• Proven ability to deliver integrated care and work collaboratively with medical professionals.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.

• Commitment to upholding professional boundaries, adhering to ethical standards, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital documentation.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

• At least one year of experience in mental health counseling, emphasizing integrated care approaches.
