Job description

While working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, ensures all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; maintains required safety, security and operational training; assures procedural and regulatory compliance; and makes safety, security and quality an integral part of every task, including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):



  • Overall responsibility for the PBS 30 baseline development, maintenance and execution.

  • Reports to the ER Program Support Manager and is matrixed to the Planning and Integration Manager.

  • This position supervises schedule development, maintenance and monitoring, cost engineering analysis and control activities.

  • Develops monthly EVMS reports for PBS 30

  • Responds to data calls from the N3B Integration Program Manager

  • Integrates change management and risk management with the N3B Integration Manager.

  • Prepares and reviews the preparation and presentation of cost engineering and planning activities. Supports project organizational and administrative activities.

  • Identification of cost trends for management attention. This position requires demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost engineering and schedule guidance to projects.

  • Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and potential production or material supply disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost.

  • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, demand planning, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.



  • Complete understanding of principles, concepts, and techniques in project cost accounting and project financial controls.

  • Proficient in P6 and in EVMS reporting.

  • Skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks independently, and to analyze and develop innovative solutions to problems.

  • Ability to recommend approaches for new or improved processes.

  • Ability to work with broad objectives, with latitude to determine the best way to accomplish tasks.

  • Ability to lead certain aspects of a task or project.

  • Ability to train and mentor more junior staff.

  • Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job.







Education and Experience Required:


Bachelors' degree in appropriate discipline; however, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
