Job description

Position: Dell Boomi Integration Engineer – UKG Pro

Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote)

Duration: Long term contract

Role Summary:

Developer with strong experience in integration development, data mapping, and understanding of APIs and cloud-based solutions. Proficiency in Dell Boomi Atmosphere web services (REST/SOAP), required. Needs to have excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork for effective collaboration and requirements gathering. Strong relational database and SQL skills are needed for data integration. UKG Boomi experience and certification is a must. Familiarity with PostGrey. Google Cloud Platform, and Big Query is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

  • Integration development: Design, build, and configure integration processes using the Boomi platform to meet business requirements.
  • A2A and B2B integrations: Work on various integration scenarios, including cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise, and on-premise-to-on-premise between various sources and cloud based vendor product.
  • API management: Develop processes to handle complete integration pipelines between various sources (including services and file inputs).
  • Data management: Handle data mapping and transformation using formats like XML, JSON..
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and recommend improvements for implemented solutions to achieve optimum efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work with business and IT teams to analyze requirements and implement

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Boomi Professional Developer certification required
  • Hands-on experience with the Boomi Atmosphere platform.
  • Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and different protocols and processes including SFTP, HTTPS, JWT, authentication and authorization.
  • Strong understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML, and flat files.
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
  • Familiarity with concepts like ETL (Extract, Transform, Load).
  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript or Groovy is beneficial.
  • Experience with JAVA and Google Cloud is beneficial.
  • IIRA and GIT familiarity is beneficial.
